Calabha max is the drug for intensive orthopaedic care which has a multipronged action as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory. The drug promotes osteogenesis and helps healthy development of bones. Calabha max is towards greater certainity of results and helps muscle development, corrects blood picture and increases metabolism.

Indications: Helps in osteoporosis, sprains, girdle pain, inflammation of joints and painful arthritic conditions.

Composition:

Each 500mg capsule represents the following active   ingredients :

• Abha guggul 125mg
• Laxadi guggul  125mg
• Kukkutandtwak Bhasam 100mg
• Shankh Bhasam 25mg
• Kishor Guggul 50mg
• Arjuna Ext.(Terminalia Arjuna) 25mg
• Pushpadhanva Ras 25mg
• Excipients s.

 

Dosage: One to two Tablets,2-3 times a day or as directed by the physician.

• Abha Guggul (125mg): Abha guggul helps reunion of bones.(bharat bhaishajyaratankar, Vol.I, page 183).
• Laxadi guugul(125mg): The drug has the properties of osteogenesis. It helps reunion of the fractures.it reduces pain and inflammation also. (Ras tantra sar & siddha prayog Sangraha, Vol. I, page 641-42).
• Kukkutandatvak Bhasam(100mg) : Kukkutandatvak Bhasam  is a rich source of calcium and helpful to improve bone density, naturally. It is also used to treat leucorrhea (vaginal white discharge) in women. It improves blood picture and blood circulation. The drug is rejuvenator. It is a cardiac tonic and tones up the muscles of the body. It helps reunion of bones, helps osteogenesis, and is useful in osteomalacia , osteoporosis.(Ras Tantrasar &Siddha prayog Sangraha,Vol. I, page 225-26).

• Shankh Bhasam(25mg): Shankh Bhasam is useful in abdominal colic, gastritis, liver disorders and enlargement of liver, spleen. It is also useful in intestinal colic, mucous disorders, loss of appetite, diarrohoea, flatulence, abdominal distension, colitis and it has an astringent action. (Ras Tantrasar & Siddhaprayog Sangraha, vol.I, 201;vol.II, 21;1980).

• Kishor Guggul(50mg):The drug is antirheuamtic and is analgesic anti-inflammatory. The drug has anti-bacterial action also . (Bharat Bhaisaiya Ratankar , page 232, Vol. I).

• Arjun Ext.(25mg): Arjun Ext.(Terminalia arjuna) contains arjunaine which gives tone to heart muscles.

• Pushpadhanva Ras(25mg): Pushpadhanva is the drug of choice in female bone disorders. Many of the ladies are not able to walk normally as they have pelvic girdle disorder and they walk as a lame.Sometimes pores are found on the bones(osteoporosis). The drug gives the desired effects. In males the drug works as a rejuvenator and improves the metabolism.(Ras tanrasar& Siddha prayog Sangraha, Vol. I, Page574-770).

Packing: Calabha max tablet are available in blister packing of 3×10 Tablets.
