Ashogon syrup is a highly effective and potential non Hormonal tonic that plays a comprehensive role in restoring the delicate balance between endocrine emotions and nutrition. It corrects the Ovarian and Uterine dysfunctions. It regulates the menstrual cycle and helps conception. Ashogon syrup minimizes menopausal and post-menopausal disturbances.

Ashoka bark:The bark is strongly astringent and is uterine sedatine. It acts directly on the muscular fibers of uterus, ashok has a stimulating effect on endomentrium and ovarian tissues and is much useful in uterine affections, specially in menorrhagia the drug is prescribed from the fourth day of the period till bleeding caeses. (I.M.M., Nadkarni, 1993, Vol.I, p.1186.87). The drug is leucorrhoea, (Bhav prakash Nighantu, 1998,p.129)
Amalaki:Amla berries are rich in antioxidants, which reduce the risk of chronic health conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. Amla berries are also an excellent source of: Vitamin C. Vitamin E. It is antibacterial and its astringent properties prevent infection and help in the healing of ulcers. It is used as a laxative to relieve constipation in piles.
Babbul bark:The leaves and bark of babool possess potent anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties which aid in controlling bleeding and infections which speed up the healing of wounds, cuts and injuries. The leaves are useful for eye complaints, headache, throat infection, urinary problems and gonorrhoea. It is used for asthma, bronchitis, diabetes, dysentery, diarrhoea and skin diseases.
Lodhra: The drug is cooling and mild astringent, lodhra averts uterine hacmorrhage and abnormal secretion. Lodhra has a synergistic action with ashok. The drug checks menorrhagia due to relaxation of the uterine tissues. Lodhra contracts capillaries and bleeding stops. It has an aphrodisiac action and it also controls diarrhoea. Vanjeerak: It is useful in loss of appetite, indigestion, fever, diarrhoea and to cure obstinate hiccup(given with buttermilk). It is anhelmintic and in intermittent fevers and to arrest vomiting. The drug is emmenagogue, carminative, aromatic, stomachic, stimulant and astringent. Researchers believe that cumin could help kill harmful bacteria that’s trying to attack your immune system. (I.M.M. 854-55; I.M.M. 408;)(Aryabhishak, 235).
Deodar: It has anti-inflammatory activity and is used for its activity against human pathogenic Epidermophyton, tricophyton, Absidia racemosa and microsporon gypsum. It has proven effective in a number of dermal diseases.
Udumber bark:Udumbar bark is a popular medicinal plant in India, which has long been used in Ayurveda, the ancient system of Indian medicine, for various diseases/disorders including diabetes, liver disorders, diarrhea, inflammatory conditions, hemorrhoids, respiratory, and urinary diseases.
Rakta rohitak: It is a small tree or a shrub with pale yellow to deep orange flowers and slightly curved fruits with winged seeds. The bark contains tecomin. It is used for liver disorders. It has been used traditionally in various ailments like syphilis, swelling, leucorrhoea and leucoderma, enlargement of spleen, obesity, tumours, blood disorders, flatulence and abdominal pain.
Gokhru:Its component contains diosgenin, which has anti-proliferative activity helps to relieve symptoms of BPH like, nocturia, increased the frequency and prostate enlargement. Diuretic, cooling, demulcent, aphrodisiac. It has a tonic effects. Used in primary nephritis, kidney stones and useful in painful in micturition. It is a nervine tonic and urinary antiseptic. Also useful in disease of genitourinary tract, urolithiasis, dysuria, etc.(I.M.M., p. 1229)
Musta: Used for treating fevers, digestive system disorders, dysmenorrhea and other maladies. Modern alternative medicine recommends using the plant to treat nausea, fever and inflammation; for pain reduction; for muscle relaxation and many other disorders. They are also credited with diuretic, anthelmintic, anti-inflammatory, carminative, stomachic and stimulant properties.
Ushir: It is used to treat many skin disorders and is known to have calming effect on the nervous system. Other medicinal uses of the drug include ringworm, indigestion and loss of appetite. It is a regarded as a stimulant, diaphoretic, refrigerant, astringent, and antibacterial. It also removes excess heat from the body and gives a cooling effect.
Satavari:Satavari is aphrodisiac, It has antioxytocic activity; increases the weight of memory glands and is galactogogue. The drug is diuretic. It is effective in ageing. The drug has estrogenic activity. It is a immunomodulator; is tonic nutritive, demulcent, antispasmodic. The drug has antiulcer activity with mulethi. (I.M.M., Nadkarni, 1993, vol.I, page153).
Bala:It is an indigenous medicinal plant of India that is frequently used in Ayurvedic system of medicine as a cooling, diaphoretic, diuretic, and demulcent. 6,7 In combination with others, it is prescribed as an astringent and tonic for fever, inflammation and haem- orrhage. (I.M.M. Nadkarni, 1993 vol.I, p. 187)
Dashmool:Dashmool are ten herbs which are very effective in controlling inflammation of serous membranes removing pain and congestion.
