• Dosage: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day or as directed by the physician.

• Cissus Quadrangularis Linn: Cissus quadrangularis is used for obesity, diabetes, a cluster of heart disease risk factors called “metabolic syndrome,” and high cholesterol. The drug is enriched with natural minerals which have a very specific effect on bone fracture healing. It is a rich source of carotenoids, triterpenoids and ascorbic acid. It is a tonic and analgesic which aids in the healing process of broken bones.

Vitex Nigundo: Vitex nigundo in Nirgundi in Harjoint Forte is proved to be very effective is dispelling inflammatory swelling of joints from acute rheumatism. The drug in Harjoint Forte has immediate onset of action in over-sprained limbs and low back pain along with antirheuamtic action. • Boswellia serrata: Boswellia serrata in Harjoint Forte tablet is the main ingredient with a difference. The drug is very effective for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and has the action by a mechanism similar to other nonsteroidal group of anti-arthritic drugs that is Boswellia serrata  inhibits prostaglandin E-2 synthesis and at the same time Boswellia serrata  being free from any of the side effects like gastric disturbances and ulcerogenic activity usually found with other and latest nonsteroidal group of anti arthritic drugs. The drug is absolutely free from any side effects or toxicity. Boswellia serrata  has immediate onset of action and is very safe.

Boswellia serrata  improves blood circulation and blood supply to joints and restores integrity of blood vessels obliterated by spasms of internal damage. Boswellia serrata  is the drug of choice in gout and gouty arthritis as it enhances the uric acid excretion. It improves renal function, reduce obesity by reducing the cholesterol concentration. Boswellia serrata  is useful in many nerve diseases. The drug is antipyretic and antispasmodic along with anti-inflammatory and analgesic action. • Withania Somnifera: It is tonic, alternative aphrodisiac and nervine sedative. Root is also used in consumption, sentite debility, Rheumatism and loss of muscular energy. It is also good in lumbago, pain in the joints, sciatica and bronchial neuralgia.
