• Dosage: 2 to 3 teaspoonful twice a day or as directed by the physician.

• Rohitaka: It is a small tree or a shrub with pale yellow to deep orange flowers and slightly curved fruits with winged seeds. The bark contains tecomin. It is used for liver disorders. It has been used traditionally in various ailments like syphilis, swelling, leucorrhoea and leucoderma, enlargement of spleen, obesity, tumours, blood disorders, flatulence and abdominal pain.
• Giloy: Giloy is used in Ayurvedic rasayans to improve the immune system and the body’s resistance to infections. The bitter principle present shows antiperiodic, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties. It is used in general debility, digestive disturbances, loss of appetite and fever in children. It is also an effective immunostimulant. The drug has antiviral and antibacterial effects. • Bhringraj: Bringraj stimulates liver function and its action. Bhringraj is antihepatotoxic and stimulates liver cell regeneration. It is anti-inflammatory and checks swelling on liver. It is useful in viral hepatitis and has cholagogue action. It is deobstruent in spleen and liver enlargement. • Bhuiamla: Bhumi Amla helps in managing liver disorders and reverses any damage caused to the liver due to its hepatoprotective, antioxidant and antiviral activities. • Kasni: Its root is Aperient, Bitter, Cholagogue, Deobstruent, Diuretic, Emmenagogue, Febrifuge, Resolvent. • Makoy: It is used to treat pneumonia, aching teeth, stomach ache, tonsillitis, wing worms, pain, inflammation and fever, tumor, inflammation, and also as hepaprotective, diuretic, antipyretic.
• Kutki: It is found effective in several cause of ill-defined fever, such as low fever with constipation fever of elephantiasis and the fever of malarial origin. Kutaki is mainly used for liver disorders like jaundice as it protects the liver against cell damage caused by free radicals due to its antioxidant and hepatoprotective properties. This antioxidant property along with cardioprotective activity also helps to improve heart health by preventing damage to the heart.
