Dosage: One or two tablet twice a day or as directed by the physician.
Anathmool: The drug has long enjoyed a reputation as a tonic, alternative, demulcent, diaphoretic, diuretic and blood purifier. It is employed in nutritional disorders, syphilis, gonorrhea, chronic rheumatism, gravel and other urinary disease and skin affections.
Gandhak Rasayan: It is used in chronic skin infections. In high dose the drug is prescribed in acute cases of leprosy. Also useful in scabies, eczema etc. Gandhak Rasayan increases bile secretion, acts as a laxative and has a diuretic and stimulates secreting organs like skin, bronchial mucus membrane. It has an alternative action. It increases the excretion of infections through sweat, urine and also the drug is excreted through breast milk in lactating mothers. Hemkshri: These herbs arere used for the treatment of dysentery and diarrhea, to promote draining of abscesses and as analgesic agent in the traditional medicine of Cook Islands, Haiti, Japan and Mexico.
Maha Manjishta ghan : The drug is excreted through respiration, sweet, urine and blood and hence it improve the functions of respiratory system, skin, kidney and blood circulatory system. It is a hepatotonic and improves liver function and brain function. Manjistha normalizes depigmentation of skin and corrects scrofula, ulcers, wounds, external inflammation, and pityriasisveriscolor. Neem pan ghan: It is used for leprosy, eye disorders, bloody nose, intestinal worms, stomach upset, loss of appetite, skin ulcers, diseases of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease), fever, diabetes, gum disease (gingivitis), and liver problems. The leaf is also used for birth control and to cause abortions.
Shiva: Shiva is a powerful rejuvenator especially helpful for the old age.It is used in the treatment of liver and spleen disorders.It can cure acute hiccups.It is widely used in the treatment of Rhinitis, bronchitis, cough, anaemia, cardiac disorders, vomiting, skin diseases and arthritis.
Chakarmada: Chakramarda (Cassia tora Linn) is a well-known medicinal plant with krimighna, kandughna and dadrughna activity. It is commonly indicated in kasa, gulma and krimi. Chakramarda taila is an anubhoota yoga used as external application in the management of Dadru kushta (Dermatophytosis). It is a valuable medicine in skin diseases like ringworm, itching, psoriasis, leprosy and chleoid tumors.
Bavachi: The drug is useful in leucoderma and leprosy. The drug is also useful in psoriasis. It is antibacterial and antifungal. Moreover it has anti-inflammatory and analgesic action. It is anthelmintic, diuretic and diaphoretic. The drug changes the colour of depigmented skin to red. In case if small boils are found on the depigmented skin, the drug may be discontinued. Kasni: It’sroot is Aperient, Bitter, Cholagogue, Deobstruent, Diuretic, Emmenagogue, Febrifuge, Resolvent. It is used in Fever, Renal Calculi, Gastritis, Dyspepsia and Dropsy.It’s seed is Appetizer, Carminative, Demulcent and Tonic and are used in Obstructive Jaundice, Hepatitis, Renal Calculi and Chronic Fever. It is useful in Torpidity of liver.
Chopchini: Its root is used as a blood purifier and internally in all troubles related to blood disorders. It is used specially in the treatment of skin troubles.Chopchini helps manage diabetes by enhancing insulin secretion due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. As per Ayurveda, consuming Chopchini powder along with lukewarm water improves digestion and appetite due to its Deepan (appetizer) property. Many traditional healers are against the use of chopchini.
Kishor guggal:The drug is antirheuamtic and is analgesic anti-inflammatory. The drug has anti-bacterial action also . (Bharat Bhaisaiya Ratankar , page 232, Vol. I).
Arogyavardhini:It has antipyretic effect in all types of fever and is useful in skin disorders. Useful in digestion, increases appetite, reduces obesity, helps evacuation. The drug has liver stimulant action and simulates gall bladder. It has cholagogue action. It is carminative and antiflatulent.(R.S. & S.S., Vol. I, 497).
Rasanjan: It has an astringent action that checks excessive secretion from an infection like eczema etc. Useful in indolent ulcers. It is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory. It has febrifuge action and useful in skin diseases. (I.M.M., 187)
Lajvanti: The drug has an antiseptic effect and useful in carbuncles and boils.(I.M.M, 799)(Aryabhisag 365)
