Ashoka bark: The bark is strongly astringent and is uterine sedatine. It acts directly on the muscular fibers of uterus, ashok has a stimulating effect on endomentrium and ovarian tissues and is much useful in uterine affections, specially in menorrhagia the drug is prescribed from the fourth day of the period till bleeding caeses. Dhataki pushpa:Dhataki pushpa are used in bowel complaints and hemorrhages and administered in menorrhagia and seminal weakness. The drug also shows antipyretic action, which compares favorably with that of acetylsalicylic acid. According to the Indian System of Medicine, the flowers of this plant are pungent, acrid, uterine sedative, cooling and useful in leprosy, toothache, leucorrhea, fever, dysentery and blood disease.
Daruharida:Daruharida is emmenagogue, cholagogue, alternative and antiperiodic. The drug is febrifuge, useful in leucorrhoea, menorrhagia due to weakness of uterus. It tones up uterine functions. (I.M.M., Nadkarni, 1993, vol.I, p.187)
Rakta rohitak:It is a small tree or a shrub with pale yellow to deep orange flowers and slightly curved fruits with winged seeds. The bark contains tecomin. It is used for liver disorders. It has been used traditionally in various ailments like syphilis, swelling, leucorrhoea and leucoderma, enlargement of spleen, obesity, tumours, blood disorders, flatulence and abdominal pain.
Manjishtha: The drug is excreted through respiration, sweet, urine and blood and hence it improves the functions of respiratory system, skin, kidney and blood circulatory system. It is a hepatotonic and improves liver function and brain function. Manjistha normalizes depigmentation of skin and corrects scrofula, ulcers, wounds, external inflammation, and pityriasisveriscolor. Udumbar bark:Udumbar bark is a popular medicinal plant in India, which has long been used in Ayurveda, the ancient system of Indian medicine, for various diseases/disorders including diabetes, liver disorders, diarrhea, inflammatory conditions, hemorrhoids, respiratory, and urinary diseases.
Gokshru:Diuretic , cooling, demulcent, aphrodisiac. It has a tonic effects. Used in primary nephritis, kidney stones and useful in painful in micturition. It is a nervine tonic and urinary antiseptic. (I.M.M., p. 1229)
Chandan:Chandan is used to alleviate itching and inflammation. It is credited with cooling, diaphoretic and expectorant properties. It is used in the treatment of common cold, bronchitis, vaginal infections, bladder infections.

People apply catechu directly to the skin for skin diseases, hemorrhoids, and traumatic injuries; to stop bleeding; and for dressing wounds.
Mocharas:It is traditionally used in diarrhoea (unripe), dysentery, intestinal lesions in ulcerative colitis, diabetes (unripe), in sprue, uremia, nephritis, gout, hypertension, cardiac disease and regulates menstrual cycle, D.U.B.
Kasis bhasm:The drug is anti-bacterial and anti-septic. It is useful in tuberculosis, urinary tract infections, respiratory disorders, calculi, enlargement of liver, enlargement of spleen, disorders of ladies, painful piles, diarrhoea, colitis.
